Some welcome progress: the riveting of the bottom skins on the left wing is complete. Look, no clecos!

Wheels

For a brief break from riveting, or thinking about riveting, I assembled the wheels.

Each wheel has two halves, an inner tube and a tire. The two main wheels also have a brake rotor. Sprinkling talcum powder inside the tire and on the inner tube helps position it in place.

Currently riveting the lower skins to the spars and ribs. Less than a hundred rivets to go, then repeat with the right wing.

Internal Wing Components

All of the control components for both wings are now complete. These include the aileron and flap pulleys and bellcranks along with their respective brackets.
